Summer is here, and June was another exciting month for Noisy Trumpet and our clients. This month’s mentions included J. Philippus Art Studio & Gallery, San Antonio Sports, SA YES, San Antonio Botanical Garden, San Antonio Museum of Art, as well as Thomas J. Henry. Our clients’ campaigns are heating up, and we are happy to have the opportunity to support them along the way! Keep reading below to see how our clients made waves in the media this past month.

J. Philippus Art Studio & Gallery continues to gain momentum as a front-runner in the ever-evolving San Antonio art scene. Local artist and studio owner Jeanne Philippus was featured in the June issue of San Antonio Magazine in the Women to Watch 2021 feature. Jeanne is constantly creating new classes for the studio, and we’re excited to see what her next feature will be. On June 15, Modern in San Antonio visited the studio and did an Instagram LIVE segment, as well as featuring the studio on their Instagram feed. We enjoy when our clients are featured in live segments so that their true personalities can shine through.

San Antonio Sports kicked off this month with a press conference announcing their upcoming Fiesta FitFest event taking place April 8-10, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. From Alpha Warrior athletic events, to a 5k/10k run, music and food, to the final Tour De France-style cycling event, L’Etape San Antonio, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Noisy Trumpet secured three influencers in the cycling and fitness world who attended the press conference, and posted on behalf of San Antonio Sports resulting in 20,137 impressions.

On Thursday, June 10, in partnership with the Frankie Casseb Youth Literacy Club and Harlandale ISD, SA YES unveiled a new “Little Locker” at Terrell Wells Middle School. SA YES provided Fiesta crafts and summer activities for students within the “Little Locker,”and distributed free tacos to all event attendees provided by Double A’s BBQ. The unveiling resulted in two online hits for a total of 711,182 impressions.

The San Antonio Botanical Garden’s exhibition “Frida Kahlo Oasis,” continues to draw visitors from all around the world to experience a captivating rendition of the Mexican artist’s iconic blue home and lush green sanctuary ‘Casa Azul.’ In an effort to boost continued awareness of “Frida Kahlo Oasis” and highlight some of the Garden’s weekly Frida-themed events and programs such as “Noches de Frida,” our team secured additional coverage from notable publications such as Texas Lifestyle Magazine, San Antonio Magazine and the Austin Chronicle.

Earlier in the month, the San Antonio Museum of Art unveiled their newest exhibition America’s Impressionism: Echoes of a Revolution. The exhibition features more than 60 works from public and private collections and redefines the understanding of Impressionism and how American artists adapted the movement in the United States. On view through September 5, the exhibition secured coverage on WOAI (NBC). As a result of the growing popularity of SAMA’s recent exhibitions like “Movie Metal,” the Museum also secured national coverage in Esquire Magazine’s article highlighting “5 Unexpectedly Awesome Domestic Cities to Fuel Your Wanderlust.” This feature resulted in over 6.56M impressions.

Personal injury attorney Thomas J. Henry announced his official sponsorship of Super Lightweight World Champion Mario “El Azteca”Barrios in a new multi-fight deal that will transcend the sport of boxing and allow Barrios to work alongside Mr. Henry on multiple philanthropic endeavors throughout 2021. Following the announcement, Noisy Trumpet oversaw media outreach, coordination and event support for a private press conference on Tuesday, June 22 in San Antonio, Texas, to promote this new partnership as well as Barrios’ highly anticipated Showtime PPV Championship fight against Gervonta “Tank” Davis. As a result of our team’s efforts, we secured prominent coverage in the San Antonio Express-News, KSAT (ABC), Univision as well as WOAI (NBC), which resulted in over 599K impressions.

July is just around the corner, and we are working on some exciting campaigns to keep our momentum growing! Keep up with our latest adventures and witness our success in helping our clients “Be Heard”.
