Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for customer relationship management across a variety of mediums. Meets with clients to get a thorough understanding of client digital marketing, advertising, website, and social media needs, target audience, and critical demographics. This position will manage and coordinate cross-channel campaigns, ensure client approval, track budgets and costs, and ensure that all projects run smoothly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Take all necessary measures to gain a full understanding of the client’s business, their challenges, opportunities and objectives.
  • Serve as primary liaison between the client and internal agency departments (web, social media, digital marketing, public relations, creative) to ensure all marketing activities performed by agency specialists meet client expectations. 
  • Assign tasks to varying departments through agency project management tool, Asana, and manage project completion.
  • Will be an active participant in strategic planning, and responsible for directing the activities of the account, selection of appropriate mediums to communicate messaging, weighing in on the creative product from the creative team, critiquing creative and marketing options.
  • Manage client timelines and any job deadlines pertaining to website development, social media, public relations, digital advertising and creative production and execution. 
  • Employ networking techniques to attract new clients.
  • Present products to prospective clients.
  • Report progress, delays, and make sure the client is always updated appropriately. Track budgets, deadlines, agency time, status reports, work summaries and make detailed presentations justifying costs and schedules.
  • Responsible for managing the client’s budget and staying on track, as well as managing any accounting and billing requirements.
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer satisfaction and the preservation of the Agency’s reputation.
  • Keep management informed of any needs or issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

DECISION MAKING

  • The Account Manager receives limited supervision, with input provided by agency leadership as needed 
  • Supervises the Account Coordinator position (if applicable to that account).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or related field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Asana preferred.
  • Knowledge of Advantage software programming preferred.

Digital Media Specialist

The Digital Media Specialist will work directly with the President/CEO, COO and VP of Digital to support the development, implementation, monitoring, optimization and reporting of paid digital campaigns for client accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist the COO and VP of Digital with the management of several digital marketing campaigns including paid advertising, social media, email marketing, SMS, content creation, etc.
  • Position includes tracking campaign progress, reporting, updating online assets, streamlining digital marketing production, and handling general digital marketing activities.
  • Develop, implement and execute strategic communications and marketing plans for our clients.
  • Generate tracking tags; ensure code is installed properly and troubleshoot issues.
  • Act as liaison between clients and vendors, effectively communicating solutions and ideas.
  • Ensure website pages are up-to-date and working properly, coordinating with developers as needed. Perform periodic site audits.
  • Create and draft a variety of communications including emails, podcasts, videos, public service announcements, and creative messaging for blogs, fliers, brochures, tweets, Facebook posts, Google ads, etc.
  • Perform keyword research and analysis, write, and implement SEO elements for websites with guidance and feedback from senior staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
  • Provide senior staff with support in the creation, management and optimization of digital media campaigns.
  • Provide periodic analysis and reporting on site traffic, digital advertising, SEO success, etc., for management with guidance from senior staff.
  • Report on the performance of new media activities, assessing the scope of reach and providing regular reports to senior staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related-field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, DSPs or other digital advertising platforms
  • 2-3 years of digital advertising and social media experience; agency experience a plus
  • Comfortable working in Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and other DSPs.
  • Certified in Google Analytics and/or Facebook Blueprint.

Public Relations Account Executive

Position Overview: 

The Public Relations Account Executive will work directly with the President/CEO and Public Relations team in conducting integrated communication strategies to promote a variety of agency clients. This position will support the development, implementation and monitoring of public relations and social media campaigns, as well as write and gather content for press releases and blogs. 

Essential Functions:

  • Generate and apply strategic and creative ideas that support client success.
  • Build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, media and social influencers. 
  • Monitor industry news and trends, client competitors and media including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, social media channels and blogs for client opportunities. 
  • Work as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement the PR activity.
  • Prepare regular client reports and attend client meetings.
  • Identify media and editorial opportunities to build targeted media lists and PR calendars.
  • Research, develop and distribute promotional media materials including press releases, media advisories and pitches to targeted media.
  • Collate, analyze and evaluate media coverage.
  • Keeping abreast of current PR trends and essential tools. 
  • Manage and provide on-site event support for press conferences, campaign activations and product launches.
  • Assist with the production of client publications, such as blogs, newsletters, social and website copy or in-house magazines.
