The Power of Women’s Voices: Lessons From the Texas Conference for Women

Leadership Lessons From the Texas Conference for Women

Recently, members of the Noisy Trumpet Communications team attended the 2026 Texas Conference for Women, an annual event dedicated to helping women advance personally and professionally through inspiring conversations, educational sessions and opportunities to connect. The conference brings together thousands of attendees and an impressive lineup of nationally recognized speakers, accomplished leaders and influential voices from across industries.

Beyond the opportunity to hear from such accomplished women, what stood out most was their willingness to speak openly about the challenges, uncertainty and decisions that shaped their journeys.

That kind of honesty can help others build confidence, recognize new opportunities and see possibilities they may not have considered before.

For Noisy Trumpet, that message feels especially meaningful.

Women in Leadership: The Value of Mentorship and Shared Success

As a woman-owned and women-led agency founded in San Antonio in 2017, Noisy Trumpet has always valued different perspectives, collaboration and helping others succeed.

That philosophy is reflected in the leadership of our founder and CEO, Fran Freeland Yanity.

In her 2024 San Antonio Woman cover feature, Fran reflected on her career, the guidance she received along the way and why mentorship remains such an important part of her leadership approach.

Early in her career, others recognized her potential in marketing and communications before she saw it herself. Those experiences helped shape her belief in encouraging others to take chances, explore new opportunities and recognize their own potential.

As Fran shared in the interview:

“There’s enough success for everyone to go around.”

It’s a simple idea that connects directly to the spirit of the conference. Sharing knowledge and encouraging someone else’s growth doesn’t diminish our own accomplishments. It creates more opportunities for everyone to succeed.

Supporting Professional Development at Noisy Trumpet

At Noisy Trumpet, BE HEARD is more than a message about helping our clients stand out. It also reflects the value we place on ideas, perspectives and the people behind our work.

Supporting professional development means giving team members opportunities to learn, contribute and build confidence in their abilities.

Attending the Texas Conference for Women is one example of that investment. Experiences like these give our team the opportunity to gain fresh perspectives, connect with other professionals and bring new ideas back to the agency.

As a women-led company, we’re proud to support an environment where mentorship, collaboration and continued learning are part of how we grow together.

The Lasting Impact of Mentorship and Connection

The biggest takeaway from the Texas Conference for Women goes beyond any single speaker or session. It’s a reminder that sharing experiences, supporting others and being willing to learn can have an impact far beyond one conversation.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to attend, for the leadership that makes experiences like this possible and for the reminder that when more voices are heard, more possibilities open up.
